Dogs and people both need the meaningful connection and joy that comes from the human-canine bond and we here at SOLOMONS People and Pets, LLC, strives to bring about positive, whole-life enrichment for both. We do this through teaching canine related job skills to those who may be underemployed or unemployed, attending a university, anyone facing a life challenge or a 4-H’er or Scout looking to earn a badge. For the dogs, it provides the best chance at being rehomed and making meaningful connections.

We use the (BEST) training method, which touches on all important aspects of a dog’s life: Behavior, Enrichment, Socialization, and Training. We also focus on Daily Ongoing Goals (DOG). The training teaches key principles like Trust, Humility, Hard Work, Generosity, Planning, Self-Control, and Communication to both human and canine. The positive impact of this program is making a difference in dog’s lives and the people’s lives they touch.
